With its premiere location in historic downtown Charleston SC, Stars is an exceptional event venue for private dining events, bridal showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties or business meetings. Whether you are hosting a formal evening affair, luncheon or casual rooftop gathering under the stars, we offer customized menus for parties as few as 15 to as many as 140. Our event specialists will work alongside you to ensure every detail is exactly how you imagined.

The Wilkinson Room
On our second floor, guests will find the gorgeous Wilkinson Room. A quiet space set apart from the main restaurant, the room boasts a charming Old Charleston style exposed brick wall and large windows overlooking historic Upper King Street. The room’s Maplewood wainscoting and overhead beams, rich hardwood floors, artisan lighting and stunning reproduction Van Gogh artwork (three keeping with the starry night theme of the restaurant) contribute to the warm ambiance of the room. The Wilkinson Room’s elegant decor suits any event’s color palette. Media hook-ups and a dedicated sound system are available for music of guests’ choice. The second floor can be accessed by stairs or elevator.
The Wilkinson Room seats up to 100 people for table service or buffet style dining.
The Rooftop Bar
Our mild Charleston weather lends itself beautifully to outside events making our Rooftop Bar an ideal venue for private parties. With 360 degree views of downtown Charleston, our Rooftop Bar is as gorgeous during the day as it is in the evening. Guests can relax around the bars or on cushioned seating at tables while enjoying the sunset and starlit nights. Surrounded by herb and sea grass planters, the Rooftop Bar echoes the natural decor of the Lowcountry. Our rooftop has standup heaters for cooler evenings and two full bars.
The Rooftop Bar accommodates up to 140 people and offers an additional option of grills for live action stations.
Luncheon Events
Stars Restaurant is available for luncheon parties, bridal showers and business meetings. Our restaurant is not open to the public for lunch so, guests planning a daytime event will have the entire restaurant to themselves. Our catering menu offers breakfast buffet and sandwich lunch options, as well as, dinner entrees.
For lunch events, we require a $1500 minimum.
Catering Menu
From lavish hor d’oeuvres to decadent desserts, Stars Restaurant offers full catering menus to suit everyone’s tastes and party style. We can create a quiet, elegant dinner event with passed hor d’oeuvres or engage your guests while watching our culinary team create masterpieces on our live fire wood grill. Our catering menu is reflective of our impressive dinner menu including fresh seafood, Southern inspired dishes and wood grilled poultry and steaks. Sample Menu
