Stars Celebrates First Anniversary with Special 3 Courses for $25 Menu - Stars Restaurant

Stars Celebrates First Anniversary with Special 3 Courses for $25 Menu

October 5, 2013 marks one year since Stars Rooftop & Grill Room opened its doors on upper King Street in downtown Charleston, SC.  We’re celebrating our first anniversary all month long with a special 3 courses for $25 menu available on Mondays in October.

The First Anniversary Menu will feature small plate, entree and dessert options for only $25 per person.  Chef Nathan Thurston said the menu will change from week to week, but guests can expect popular dishes such as Dino Kale Salad, Grill Room Steak and Smoked Chocolate S’more Pie to be on the menu.

The Anniversary Menu will be available from 6:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m. beginning October 7, 2013 and continuing on Mondays only through October 28, 2013.  Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 843-577-0100 or booking online.

Since opening last October, Stars has been honored to receive such awards as Best New Restaurant, Best Cocktail with A View and Best Veggie Dish from Charleston City Paper;  “What’s So Hot Right Now” from Charleston Eater;  and was named among the  “Top 100 Hottest Restaurant Bar in the U.S.” by OpenTable.   We are so appreciative of the awards, but especially grateful for the praise we receive from patrons who dine with us again and again.

One of the most exciting aspects of Stars has been the opportunity to introduce the art of live fire wood grilling to Charleston as well as a unique rooftop experience.  The only rooftop to offer 360 degree views of downtown Charleston, our Rooftop Bar has become a weekend hotspot with lines forming around the block to get upstairs.  It has been thrilling to see the original vision for Stars not only come to fruitation, but be so warmly embraced by our community.

Thank you to our local growers and purveyors, exceptional staff and wonderful patrons for an amazing first year! We are looking forward to many more to come!
