This Sunday and every 2nd Sunday of the month, from 1pm to 5pm, the portion of King Street that lies between Calhoun and Queen Streets will be blocked to traffic while Charleston’s finest enjoy October’s Second Sunday on King Street. The favorite monthly event features live music, art exhibits, shopping and an array of food from local restaurants and vendors. It’s the perfect thing to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Holy City!
If you’re thinking now that you have your afternoon planned, you just need to find something fun to do on Sunday morning, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Join us at Stars Rooftop & Grill Room starting at 10:30am for Stars’ Weekend Brunch. The all-you-can-eat style spread is only $24.95 for adults and $10.50 for children age 12 and under, and features a wide array of breakfast and brunch specialties.
Start your brunch with an artisan cheese board, or Heirloom Tomato Salad made with sliced heirloom tomatoes, basil salsa verde, locally sourced arugula, and fresh toasted bread. Then move on to heavier items like our Pecan Praline French Toast with maple syrup, or Fried Chicken Benedict, made using crispy chicken, Benton’s country ham, and poached eggs piled on fluffy biscuits, then topped with a honey-dijon hollandaise sauce.
If you’re craving something sweet, be sure to sample the Banana Pudding Trifle, Greek Yogurt & House-made Granola, or our favorite, Mini Single Origin Chocolate and Sea Salt Cookies! Drink specials for Weekend Brunch include $4 Bloody Marys and $3 Mimosas. To view the whole menu, visit the Menu tab on our website.
Make your plans now to join us this Sunday for Stars’ Weekend Brunch before you explore the sights at Second Sunday on King Street!
