Stars Rooftop & Grill Room offers the best holiday party venue in downtown Charleston SC. Although the holidays are still a few months away, Stars is accepting private event reservations now for the 2013 Christmas and holiday season.
Located on Upper King Street, Stars is the perfect location for business parties, family gatherings or holiday weddings, showers and rehearsal dinners. Stars can accommodate parties from as few as 15 or as many as 140 guests. With our excellent service, beautiful restaurant and award-winning food, wine and cocktail menus, we will help you plan a festive party your guests will always remember.
Stars offers two event spaces, our second floor Wilkinson Room and our beautiful Rooftop Bar overlooking historic downtown. A buy-out of our entire restaurant is available for large parties. For luncheon events, all three floors are available since Stars does not serve lunch to the public. Whether you are hosting a formal evening event, cocktail party or casual rooftop gathering, our experienced team will work alongside you to ensure every detail is exactly how you imagined.

The Wilkinson Room
On our second floor, guests will find the gorgeous Wilkinson Room. A quiet space set apart from the main restaurant, the room boasts a charming Old Charleston style exposed brick wall and large windows overlooking historic Upper King Street. The room’s Maplewood wainscoting and overhead beams, rich hardwood floors, artisan lighting and stunning reproduction Van Gogh artwork (three keeping with the starry night theme of the restaurant) contribute to the warm ambiance of the room. The Wilkinson Room’s elegant decor suits any event’s color palette. Media hook-ups and a dedicated sound system are available for music of guests’ choice. The second floor can be accessed by stairs or elevator.
The Wilkinson Room seats up to 100 people for table service or buffet style dining.
The Rooftop Bar
Our mild Charleston weather lends itself beautifully to outside events making our Rooftop Bar an ideal venue for private parties. With 360 degree views of downtown Charleston, our Rooftop Bar is as gorgeous during the day as it is in the evening. Guests can relax around the bars or on cushioned seating at tables while enjoying the sunset and starlit nights. Surrounded by herb and sea grass planters, the Rooftop Bar echoes the natural decor of the Lowcountry. Our rooftop has standup heaters for cooler evenings.
The Rooftop Bar accommodates up to 140 people and offers an additional option of grills for live action stations.
