We have exciting news, indeed! Stars Rooftop & Grill Room in Charleston, SC was named one of the “Top 100 Hottest Restaurant Bar in the U.S.”. A 2013 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award, the “Hottest Restaurant Bar” place of honor is determined by more than 5 million reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners over the last year. The restaurants on the winning list were competing against more than 15,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Since opening in the Fall of 2012, Stars Rooftop Bar and Walnut Bar have been local hot spots for enjoying specialty cocktails. With its 360 views of downtown Charleston, upbeat atmosphere and ambiance, the Rooftop Bar is the epitome of a “vibrant bar scene” as evidenced by the long lines to get on the roof on the weekends. Not only is the rooftop a beautiful location to enjoy with friends, it also provides a place for guests to unwind with a drink before or after dinner.
The gorgeous Walnut Bar on the first floor is centered at the front of the restaurant with plenty of seating for conversation and people-watching. Star’s “Tap Wine Tuesday” happy hour offering half-price artisan tap wine and $3 Lite Bites has made the Walnut Bar the place to be every Tuesday between 4-7pm.

Stars award-winning mixologist Zach Smith created an amazing 10 for $10 cocktail menu that is a “must-sip.” Favorites drinks include The Lebowski (Bombay Saphire, Absente Cream, Latte di Mandorla, Ceylon Cinnamon) and The Last Word (Hendricks Gin, Luxardo Maraschino, Green Chartreus, Fresh Squeezed Lime).
