New Charleston SC restaurant Stars Rooftop & Grill Room introduces Tap Wine Tuesday with new Light Bites Menu. Debuting on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, Tap Wine Tuesday enables guests to sip any of the 16 artisan wines on tap at Stars for half price including milliliter and liter carafes. Tap Wine Tuesday is only available at the Walnut Bar and cocktail area on the first floor of the restaurant from 4pm – 7 pm every Tuesday.
Stars offers an extensive artisan tap wine selection ranging from full-bodied reds to crisp, tart whites. One of the greatest advantages of the tap wine system to the wine lover is they are able to sip vintages and estate wines that normally would not be available by the glass.
Another benefit to tap wine is the stainless steel sealed keg system uses an inert gas to push the wine through the lines which protects the wine from oxidation and cork taint. Additionally, the dedicated refrigerated systems for white and red wines guarantee the wine is served at the correct temperature. The end result? The wine remains “winery-fresh” from the first glass to the last.
Also available on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. is Star’s Light Bites Menu. Perfectly paired with our artisan tap wines, the Light Bites Menu offers some of our most beloved appetizers for only $3 each including:
