Everything at Stars Rooftop and Grill Room is always made with love, but we’ve put some extra TLC into our Valentine’s Day specials. Charleston SC is a romantic city every day of the year, but for added Valentine’s Day romance you will want to come to Stars for cocktails, dinner and definitely dessert.
Our rooftop is a showstopper when it comes to stargazing with the one you love. With the 360 degree views of the downtown Charleston, the scenery is ideal for enjoying the sunset or twinkling lights of the city. While you are on the rooftop, you may want to sip on our special Valentine’s Day cocktail, “Lovers Quarrel.” Now, don’t be discouraged by the name. We all know that the best part of the quarrel is the making up, right? Our mixologists use House Spiced Bourbon, Godiva Chocolate Liquor, Lemon and Brachetto Float to craft a cocktail that will surely melt your heart.
We will be serving our regular dinner menu on Valentine’s Day which is filled with dishes that will make your heart aflutter. A great starter is our Oysters Bull’s Bay which combines baked oysters, spinach, asiago cheese, garlic and brandy to create a dish that perfect for sharing.
Our Lobster and Grits entree is a fabulous choice for a special dinner with a special someone. Presented whole and shelled, the lobster is accompanied with “Big Grits,” House-Cured Bacon, Cauliflower, Golden Rasin and Lobster Bisque. If a steak is more to your liking, you must sample one of our prime steaks prepared on our Oak Wood Grill. Guests can choose from Filet Mignon, New York Strip or Rib-Eye. Each is served with Smashed and Fried Potatoes, Creme Fraiche, Crispy Brussel Sprout Leaves, Chimichurri and Star’s Steak Sauce.
To accompany your dinner, Stars offers an extensive wine selection including artisan tap wine. Only available at Stars, our tap wine selection features exclusive vintages that are typically not available by the glass. Our gracious servers are knowledgeable on all of our wines and would be happy to help you make a selection to compliment your meal.
Of course, no Valentine’s Day dinner would be complete without a sweet finish. Our pastry chef has created an amazing special dessert for the day, Edisto Island Strawberry Semifreddo with flavors of Chocolate, Pink Peppercorn, & Aged Balsamic. It simply is too delicious to pass up!
